About

The Nefesh barzel Fund was established during the Iron Swords War in Israel, by an association of listeners Makshivim and other funds that joined. Our goal is to support and assist in psychological treatments and psychosocial support for the families of war victims. Our vision these days is to do as much as we can to respond efficiently and quickly in order to preserve the mental well-being of the victims following the war. We all hug the families together.

Today, we provide initial interventional assistance from a team of psychologists and mental health professionals, for 24 hours a day to the entire population. 7 days a week and in 7 languages. You can dial from any phone 3596* extension 1.

Also, in the coming days, in parallel with the completion of the fundraising for the fund, We will provide psychological treatments and psychosocial support to the families of victims of hostilities, the kidnapped, the bereaved families, and the surrounding communities. – Free of charge. 
In the first phase, approximately 1,000 people are expected to receive mental health care, and then another 2,000 people will receive it. *Subject to the regulations to be published *and the fund's budget.

Long-term mental therapy (8/15 sessions and/or as needed). Who is it suitable for?: Families of victims of hostilities, residents of an area up to 7 km will be added: Sderot, Ashkelon, Netivot and Ofakim. 

Who is this suitable for? Suitable for those with a master's degree in therapy / psychology and social work students, the rest of the training is on us. And/or anyone who wants to assist the foundation in therapeutic operations and/or research.

Who is this suitable for? Clinical psychologists and social workers, art therapists, who want to care for the families of refugees, victims of hostilities, and approve the foundation's outline.

Who is this suitable for? Parents of children who want to receive tools to deal with the situation, concerned citizens who want to receive group support and tools for mental resilience.

Who is this suitable for? Subject: Reuniting with a partner.Spouses whose one spouse was/is still in the reserves and need support.
